Migraine often sends signals.Prevena helps you see them.

Log an attack the moment it starts, even from your Apple Watch. Prevena lines your attacks up with your sleep, steps, cycle and the weather, so you can see what tends to come before them.

Migraine takes more than the hours it hurts.

It takes plans, workdays and the guessing that comes after. Sound familiar?

  1. Friday, 19:30

    You cancel plans. Again.

You looked forward to it all week. Now you're writing the same apology and hoping they understand.

  2. Saturday

A whole day disappears in a dark room.

Curtains closed, phone face down, the day gone before it started.

  3. Monday, 08:00

Sleep in on the weekend, wake up to a Monday migraine.

Two slow mornings felt like rest. Then the week starts with a pounding head.

  4. Tuesday, 17:45

Eight hours of screens, and your temples start to throb.

You only notice you needed a break when it's too late to take one.

  5. Wednesday

Was it the coffee, the sleep or the screen?

You replay the last two days in your head and still don't know.

  6. Thursday, at the doctor's

You guess in front of your doctor.

"How many headache days last month?" Maybe six, maybe ten. You honestly don't know.

From guessing to seeing your patterns.

Three small habits. Prevena does the adding up.

  1. 1

    Log it when it happens

A few taps log an attack the moment it starts. Add how strong it is and where it hurts, or fill in the rest later.

  2. 2

Let the rest fill itself in

With your permission, Prevena reads your sleep, steps and menstrual flow from Apple Health, and adds the weather where you are.

  3. 3

See what tends to come before

Each day you get an outlook of Low, Medium or High. After 30 days and 6 attacks, possible links appear, like short nights before attack days.

Built for the days before, during and after.

Small tools that fit into a day with migraine, not on top of it.

Today's outlook, in one word

Low, Medium or High, plus the next two days. It comes from your own logs and today's conditions. No percentages and no promises.

A low outlook doesn't mean you won't have an attack.

Touch where it hurts

Pick the spot on the head map, from temples and forehead to eyes, neck and jaw. Prevena suggests short routines for that area, 11 in all. They work without internet, and attack mode keeps the screen dark and quiet.

Bed and wake times

Log when you went to bed and woke up, or let Apple Health fill it in. After 14 nights you see how regular your sleep really is.

Your daily steps

Daily steps from Apple Health show up in Insights with your 30-day average, and they go into your doctor report.

Screen breaks you choose

If you want them: a nudge every 45, 60 or 90 minutes to rest your eyes, loosen your neck and drink water, plus a reminder to put screens away before bed. All quiet during an attack.

The last thing you want to look at during an attack is your phone.

So Prevena is on your wrist. Start an attack with one tap, set how strong it is with the Digital Crown, mark the side, and end it when it's over. The screen stays dim and warm.

  • One tap to start an attack, and end it when it's over
  • Pain level on the Digital Crown, then left, right or both sides
  • One minute of breathing, guided by gentle taps on your wrist
  • No connection? It's saved on your watch and syncs later
  • An optional complication. Hide the outlook and it shows only the Prevena flower

The Apple Watch app works with Prevena on your iPhone.

Walk into your appointment with real numbers.

Prevena turns your log into a clear PDF for your doctor: every attack with its severity, duration, symptoms and possible triggers, in Turkish, English or Spanish. Your doctor sees the whole picture, and you don't have to remember it all.

  • Choose the last 30, 90 or 180 days
  • Headache days for each 30-day period
  • Acute medication days, grouped by type
  • Sleep, steps and the relief routines you tried

Medication days, counted for you

Prevena counts the days you took a pain reliever or a triptan over the last 30 days. When the count gets close to the levels doctors watch for, it suggests talking it over with your doctor. A count, not a diagnosis.

Your health data stays yours.

Prevena reads sleep, steps and menstrual flow from Apple Health only with your permission, and never writes anything back. It is never sold or used for ads. Disconnect and delete it whenever you want.

If yours isn't here, write to us at info@prevena.app

What can I do on Apple Watch?

Start an attack with one tap and end it when it's over, set the pain level with the Digital Crown, mark which side hurts, and follow a one-minute breathing exercise guided by gentle taps. You can also add a complication that shows today's outlook, or only the Prevena flower if you'd rather keep it private. The watch app needs Prevena on your iPhone. If your watch has no connection, attacks are saved on it and sync later.

What does Prevena read from Apple Health?

Only sleep, steps and menstrual flow, and only the types you allow. Prevena never writes anything to Apple Health. Your phone works out one summary per day and sends only that summary to our server over an encrypted connection. Health data is never sold, never used for ads and never stored in iCloud.

Read the health data section of our Privacy Policy
How do I delete my data?

For Apple Health data, go to Profile > Apple Health, tap Disconnect and choose Disconnect and delete: your health summaries are removed from our live database immediately. To delete your whole account, use Profile > Delete My Account: your data is removed from our live database within 24 hours. In both cases, backup copies expire within 14 days. Uninstalling the app on its own does not delete your account.

How is AI used?

The daily outlook and the chat assistant use an AI model, and the chat is clearly labelled as AI. Prevena asks for your consent once before anything is sent. If you say no, logging, sleep, relief routines and the doctor report keep working; only the outlook and chat stay off.

Is Prevena a medical device?

No. Prevena is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. It helps you keep track and notice patterns to discuss with your doctor. If a headache comes on suddenly and is the worst of your life, or comes with weakness in your face, arm or leg, or with a fever together with a stiff neck, get emergency help right away. Do the same for numbness, trouble speaking or vision loss that is new to you, lasts longer than an hour or is different from your usual aura.

How much does it cost?

Prevena is free to download. Using it needs a subscription, and some plans start with a free trial. You see the price in the app before you pay, and you can cancel any time in your App Store settings.

Which devices and languages does it support?

Prevena is on iPhone, Apple Watch and Android phones, in English, Turkish and Spanish. The watch app is for Apple Watch and needs an iPhone.
